Sure, some set up charges seem outrageous, especially on smaller quantity orders where the cost can add significantly to the per piece cost of your promotion. So how can you save money?

• Order Larger Quantities. If you buy your promotional products in larger quantities for use over a longer period of time, those costs become less when spread out over the entire order.
• Reuse Imprint Artwork. Depending on the supplier, sometimes they will let you use the same artwork on a reorder for no additional set up charge if your order is placed within a certain period of time, usually within one year. Check with your distributor for details.
• Simplify Your Artwork. The fewer the number of colors and the less complex your imprint design, the cheaper the setup charge.
• Select Products with Standard Imprint Processes. Some imprint processes such as debossed leather, full color imprinting, embroidery and custom molds (such as for chocolate or plastics) have higher setup costs. Select products that use standard imprinting processes such as ink imprinting.
