Heidi Thorne, president and founder of Thorne Communications and the PromoWithPurposeToday.com blog, was honored as one of the recipients of The Business Ledger’s 2010 Influential Women in Business award. The awards presentation was held on November 4, 2010 at Danada House in Wheaton, Illinois.
When accepting the award, Heidi said, “When they talk about influence, you can’t do it without other people. In addition to being president of Thorne Communications, Heidi is also on the Board of Directors of the Friends of DuPage Animal Care & Control, on the Member Promotion Committee of the Carol Stream Chamber of Commerce, and is active in several networking communities both online and offline.
