With the goal of sharing strategies for leveraging social media and community building, the 2011 Event Camp National Conference (ECNC), February 11-13, 2011, brought together a cast of social media superstars to headline the event including Chris Brogan, Liz Strauss, and Hank Wasiak. Also, Grammy & Emmy nominated, CMA & ACM award winning songwriter Billy Kirsch of Kidbilly Music, led attendees in creating and recording an official EventCamp song. The conference was held at at the Catalyst Ranch in Chicago, an innovative meeting environment that “stimulates and invigorates the senses” with bright vintage art, playthings and furnishings.
